Low Height Check Dam at Sanjore Nallah of Duajhar G.P, Khariar block

	Duajhar G.P of Khariar block in Nuapada District is a drought affected area. Since a long there was a demand of people to plan for over coming from the situation at the time of minor drought. they were also awared about the scheme MGNREGA. So they had a palli sabha at there level & demanded for the masonary check dam at sanjor nallah of Duajhar G.P. As per the proposal of the villagers the project has been taken up. The existing nalla comes from Bhoirajpur hills. Previously 04 to 05 hects of land was irrigated , but after construction 15.68 Hects land are being irrigated and 25 nos. of marginal farmer are getting life saving irrigation facilities from the project.
